Privacy Policy

Quick-BookWiz respects Your privacy and complies with the Privacy Act 1993 when collecting personal information.  We will only collect and use personal information in connection with processing Your registration and providing access to the Quick-BookWiz Services and for marketing our products and services to You.  All personal information remains with Quick-BookWiz and will not be sold, traded or shared with anyone other than our related companies.  You are entitled to access the personal information Quick-BookWiz holds about You, and amend it.

You own Your Data

Quick-BookWiz is an online booking, scheduling, and management system which stores and processes information about a company or individual (Your Client) as provided or entered by that company or individual.  Quick-BookWiz will only store information that is entered by You or Your Client.  The Data entered by You or Your Client remains Your property and Quick-BookWiz will not use nor make available for use any of this information without Your written permission.  "Your Client" includes reference to all Users of the Quick-BookWiz system on behalf of or as authorised by You including but not limited to employees, Your clients, contractors, representatives, successors and assignees of a named Client.


You control who has access to Your Data

By default the Master User is the appointed person as the Administrator who will be deemed as having full authority to act on behalf of and bind You, the person or entity that is subscribing to the Quick-BookWiz Services

The Data entered, or imported on instruction, by You is stored securely in a database and is only accessible to any person You have authorized to use the Service.

The Master User will have full control over who is invited to be a User.  A User represents the person that is allowed to use an Access Point for the Quick-BookWiz Software.  Within the software additional persons can be given permission to use the software.  In both cases a user name and password is required in order to access Your information in Quick-BookWiz.

It is Your and each individual User’s responsibility to keep their password safe.  It is the Master User’s responsibility to administer the User Access and to ensure that the User’s comply with the terms of conditions for using the Service.  Please notify us immediately if there is any unauthorised use of Your account by any other Internet user or any other breach of security.

Quick-BookWiz , Quick-BookWiz’s staff and Quick-BookWiz’s partners do not have access to Your password and are therefore unable to access Your Organisation’s account or Data without receiving a written invitation to do so from the Master User.


Access to Your data

Quick-BookWiz will give You access to Your data at any time while You are not in breach of Your obligations as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.  On request, Quick-BookWiz will provide the Administrator with a full export of the Client’s data in one of the following format: CSV , CSV for MS Excel, Microsoft Excel 2000, or Open Document Spreadsheet.  

You are responsible for ensuring that Quick‑BookWiz has a current, valid email address for the Master User at all times.  Quick-BookWiz will not be responsible for any mail transmitted to an incorrect or invalid email address that has been provided by You.

Quick-BookWiz will also provide a full export of Your data to the Master User upon expiry or cancellation of the Services offered by Quick-BookWiz pursuant to the terms and conditions of that Licence (provided that You have paid all amounts due to Quick-BookWiz or any agent).

Quick-BookWiz will permanently delete Your data on request of the Master User or if on expiry or cancellation the data is not returned to the Client pursuant to our End User Terms and Conditions.


Quick-BookWiz monitors system usage

Quick-BookWiz will never access system usage history for a specific identifiable user, except where granted permission by that person to assist with resolution of a system issue or error.

Quick-BookWiz also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site.  This data is used to manage the website, track usage in order to better understand how our customers are using the Service so we can improve the system design.  This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services.  User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.


Your Data is sent securely across the internet

Quick-BookWiz's servers have SSL Certificates issued by leading certificate authorities, so all Data transferred between users and the Service is encrypted.  To ensure full security You will need to take appropriate steps to ensure that Your Internet browser is capable of supporting our website's encryption requirements.  Most versions of Netscape Navigator, Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5 and above will support our server authentication and data encryption technology.

Quick-BookWiz takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system. Quick-BookWiz allows You to access Your information at any time to keep it accurate and up to date.  Any information which we hold for You is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities which Quick-BookWiz considers will give You the most efficient access from wherever in the world You may be.  Where You access or input Data from somewhere other than the country where the Data is stored or to be stored, You consent to that Data being transferred from one country to the other (including via any intermediate country) as a function of transmission across the internet.


Use of Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Quick-BookWiz uses both session ID cookies and persistent cookies.  For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser or after a certain time of inactivity the cookie simply terminates.  A persistent cookie is a text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Cookies are used to manage sessions on our site.  Users must enable cookies to use Quick-BookWiz.

Quick-BookWiz may contain links to sites. Quick-BookWiz is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site.  Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Quick-BookWiz .


Sharing and Disclosure of Information Quick-BookWiz Collects

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Quick-BookWiz will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Quick-BookWiz, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Quick-BookWiz Terms of Conditions or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service. Quick-BookWiz reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Quick-BookWiz or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.  For more information see the "Changes in Our Privacy Policy" section below.


Changes in Our Privacy Policy

If we change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our web site so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  If we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email and / or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
